Regents Park 1-Day Workshop

Urban Wildlife Photo Workshops
Last month I ran a 1-day nature photography workshop in Regents Park, London. With our main focus being the friendly Grey Herons, we were rewarded with many stellar photo opportunities as they flew around the park looking for nesting material. 24 Hours In Edinburgh
It's been a great photo workshop season in Edinburgh this year - with plenty of amazing encounters of winter waders and pink-footed geese. Last Friday saw my last group photographing purple sandpipers and sanderling at North Berwick. Rarely have these rare sandpipers been so confiding, and everyone came away with great photos. Day Out At Slimbridge
Today I took a small group of keen photographers from the University of Bristol Photographic Society on a late winter outing to WWT Slimbridge. Although this month can be a quiet time of transition for many birds, with Bewick's Swans and White-Fronted Geese heading home to their Siberian breeding grounds, our group had many amazing encounters - from a rare Goshawk chasing Golden Plover (a Fox later joined in but with less success), to Cranes performing their courtship dance.
