
Alright, maybe not 50 shades - but there sure are a lot of ways to snap a pic of one of these photogenic birds.
On the Urban Wildlife Photo Workshop we spend a lot of time with the charismatic long-legged heron, on the lookout for interesting hunting and nest-building behaviours as well as details and close-up portraits. Herons can be wary but here we can get very close and observe them at water level going about their daily lives - a great treat if you want to develop your portfolio with a range of strong images.
