KINGFISHER DAYS

A wonderful opportunity to photograph a resident pair of electric-blue Kingfisher in natural surroundings on a private farm near Winchester.
This summer workshop focuses on capturing intimate portraits, feeding and action shots of one of Britain’s most charismatic birds.
Our small group size guarantees plenty of opportunity for personalised guidance on camera settings, autofocus, composition, and reading behaviour. The kingfishers feed very regularly (almost half-hourly) and are accustomed to our hide, allowing us to photograph them without disturbance.
Whether you are looking to improve your technical skills or create more atmospheric wildlife images, this workshop offers a relaxed and rewarding experience.
This workshop takes place at the same private site used for my Tawny Owl and Diving Kingfishers With Flash workshops. You can find further details on related experiences here.
